The TaylorMade Qi4D LS is designed for golfers seeking maximum speed, control and ultra-low spin from the tee.

Within the Qi4D family, the LS delivers the lowest spin profile with a mid launch. Its 460cc head features a more compact, traditional shape designed to appeal to better players who value both performance and the ability to control ball flight. 

TaylorMade extensively studied the aerodynamics of the head to reduce drag, the aerodynamic resistance acting against the clubhead during the swing. Tour-player feedback and computational airflow analysis helped create a shape designed to move efficiently through the air and maximize clubhead speed.

The LS, or Low Spin, design helps reduce excessive backspin and produce a more penetrating trajectory. For golfers who naturally generate too much driver spin, reducing that spin can create a more efficient ball flight and additional roll after landing.

Two adjustable TAS weights, or Trajectory Adjustment System weights, allow golfers and fitters to further fine-tune head performance and ball-flight characteristics. 

A major part of the Qi4D fitting concept is the new Mitsubishi REAX shaft family. Instead of matching a shaft only according to swing speed, TaylorMade also considers rotation profile, meaning the relationship between how the golfer's body and club release through impact. 

Mitsubishi REAX 60 High Rotation Red

The High Rotation Red is designed for golfers whose body releases faster than the club. TaylorMade describes this as a “Hold” release pattern.

The REAX 60 Red weighs 67g and is available in Regular, Stiff and X-Stiff flexes, with torque ranging from 4.7° in Regular to 4.3° in X-Stiff.

The Mid Rotation Blue is the most balanced profile, designed for golfers whose body and club release relatively in sync through impact.

TaylorMade identifies this “Balanced” pattern with approximately 60% of golfers, making Blue the broadest-fitting of the three REAX rotation profiles. 

REAX 60 Blue weighs 63g and is available in Regular, Stiff and X-Stiff, with torque ranging from 4.7° to 4.3° depending on flex.
