The Spider ZT Counter Balance represents one of TaylorMade’s most advanced Spider putters. The design incorporates Zero Torque (ZT) technology, developed to help golfers keep the putter face more square throughout the entire putting stroke. This reduces the need for hand manipulation and promotes a smoother, more repeatable motion.

A key feature of this putter is the center-shaft configuration, where the shaft is positioned close to the head’s center of gravity. This layout minimizes torque and helps maintain a square face relative to the path of the stroke, improving alignment and directional consistency.

The Spider ZT head features a multi-material construction that combines a high-density 303 stainless steel front section with a lightweight 6061 aerospace aluminum back section. This design allows engineers to push weight toward the perimeter, creating a high-MOI platform that improves forgiveness and stability.

The counterbalance version features a slightly longer shaft and heavier head, increasing overall stability and helping golfers produce a smoother stroke with less wrist action.
